The oil painting portrays a delightful scene in the fields of the gray-headed prairie cone flowers. A young girl is captivated by the unexpected arrival of a majestic monarch butterfly, which gently lands on her outstretched finger. The artist skillfully captures the essence of a late autumn harvest, using a warm palette of browns and tans to depict the rich colors of the field. The vibrant yellow of the coneflowers stands out beautifully against the girl's blue hat, creating a striking contrast. This artwork captures a serene moment in nature, where the beauty of the flowers and the delicate grace of the butterfly harmoniously come together, bringing a sense of tranquility and wonder. 11 x 14 on linen board matted and framed in gold with an overall dimension of 16 x 20
